Blues & Brews
Green Acres is teaming up with the Idaho Blues Society for a full day of live blues, craft beer and great food. Stop by the Satellite Bar next to The Lemon Cow to enjoy six exclusive guest beers from local breweries that aren't normally available at The Green Acres Bar. Order a full pint or a tasting flight, cast your vote for the Best Greenbelt Beer and help decide which guest beer will be featured on tap throughout August.
Along with the beer tasting, enjoy all-day live blues, a full lineup of food trucks, local vendors, face painting and an inflatable obstacle course.

250th Independence Day Celebration at Green Acres
Celebrate the Fourth of July with two full days of live music, food trucks, local shopping, and summer fun at Green Acres on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4.
Planning to float the river? We're located right next to the Boise River exit, making Green Acres the perfect place to grab breakfast before your float or refuel afterward with lunch, dinner, drinks, and live music.
Heading to the fireworks at Ann Morrison Park? We're just across the river, making it easy to stop by for a bite to eat before the show begins.

Pound for a Purpose - Big Brothers Big Sisters
Get ready to pound, pour, and party with a purpose! Join us at Green Acres for an outdoor POUND workout benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters in partnership with POUND For Purpose, where every beat helps give back to the community. Best part? 100% of proceeds go directly to supporting local youth through Big Brothers Big Sisters.
This high-energy, 45-minute cardio jam session turns drumming into a full-body workout with loud music, big movement, and serious fun. Expect a mix of cardio, Pilates-inspired strength, isometric moves, and plyometrics all while channeling your inner rockstar with Ripstix in hand.

Memorial Day Weekend - Springfest
Spend your Memorial Day at Green Acres for Springfest, a full day of free, family-friendly bluegrass, dancing, food trucks, and good vibes! In partnership with the Idaho Bluegrass Association, weāre filling the park with nine local bluegrass bands from 10:30am to 8:30pm, plus a community square dance at 3pm with live callers Karla and Andy and music from Cattywampus & Kin. Bring a lawn chair, bring your instrument, bring your dancing shoes, and come hang out with us for one of the most feel-good days of the summer.

Come to the 5th annual "Say So Long To Summer" Benefit Concert held by Bustin' Out of Boise.
Bustinā Out of Boise is an organization whose mission is to fill the gap providing a range of services for women undergoing cancer treatments! Come listen to live music and enter to win dozens of fantastic prizes in their raffle and silent auction (prizes include 2 round trip airfare tickets, a lakeview vacation rental on Cascade Lake and a lot more!) All proceeds support this amazing organization. Additional details can be found here!

Labor Day Weekend 2025
In honor of Labor Day Weekend, enjoy some extended hours, extra trucks, more music and face painting! We will have 15 different food trucks, 10 bands and face painting and lucky locks will be onsite this weekend.

BOISE ROCK SCHOOL SUMMER CONCERT
Get ready for the Boise Rock School Showcase featuring over 30 youth bands! Truly a show for all ages ā come support these young musicians as each band performs a short set showcasing their best material and the result of all their practice this past year.
Unfamiliar with The Boise Rock School? The BRS is a non profit that empowers youth through music education, after-school programs, summer camps and different outreach programs. Students learn musical excellence as well as essential life skills such as group problem solving, compromise and the value of positive social interaction.
The BRS team will be onsite ā stop by to learn more about their programs and how you can volunteer or join the school! They will also be taking donations if you so please to donate :)
Enjoy an evening of young musical talent, food trucks, yard games and being outside by the greenbelt.
