Get ready for the Boise Rock School Showcase featuring over 30 youth bands!  Truly a show for all ages – come support these young musicians as each band performs a short set showcasing their best material and the result of all their practice this past year.

Unfamiliar with The Boise Rock School? The BRS is a non profit that empowers youth through music education, after-school programs, summer camps and different outreach programs. Students learn musical excellence as well as essential life skills such as group problem solving, compromise and the value of positive social interaction.

The BRS team will be onsite – stop by to learn more about their programs and how you can volunteer or join the school! They will also be taking donations if you so please to donate :)

Enjoy an evening of young musical talent, food trucks, yard games and being outside by the greenbelt.

Idaho Rivers United is excited to present for the 3rd time, Idaho Brewshed Beer Festival hosted at Green Acres! The Brewshed Festival will feature Idaho breweries and cideries who have committed to protecting the wild watersheds that make delicious craft beer possible.

Brewshed Festival guests will be able to sample brewery beers and ciders and then vote for their favorite “BEST RIVER BREW” – whatever they find the most thirst-quenching, seasonable, and drinkable for those perfect summer days on a river.

The festival will feature food trucks, live local music and some excellent raffle prizes

Kiddos and dogs welcome!

All proceeds from ticket/beer sales will support Idaho Rivers United. A $25 ticket gets you into the event if you BRING YOUR OWN non-single use plastic cup.

• An additional $10 will be charged to provide you with last year's Brewshed cup (limited supply), and when those run out, it will cost $10 for an aluminum cup provided by IRU.

• Your entry includes 6 drink tickets for beer tasters. Additional tickets cost is $4/ticket or 3 for $10.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - Join us in bringing light to the darkness of cancer by donating towards our support of the LLS “Light the Night Fundraiser”. Their team will be set up onsite - go meet them and learn more about their mission to cure Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin’s Disease, Myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Enjoy an evening with live music, food trucks, yard games and being outside by the greenbelt. Enjoy music from 6-8pm from Captain Snafu! Captain Snafu is a local rock & roll band playing a mixture of american rock originals and new age takes on timeless classics.

Join the Treasure Valley Pound Posse each month at Green Acres for a free Pound Workout to benefit a different local charity each month. For September, we are supporting Game Changers of Idaho. This organization’s mission is to find those who seek to spread goodness, so that others may be fulfilled, by offering a variety of opportunities for kids with and without disabilities. We often use sports as a vehicle to create relationships and to focus on the ability of children, rather than the disability.

Channel your inner rockstar w/ this full-body cardio-jam session inspired by the infections, energizing, and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. This is a donation-based workout & proceeds will benefit Game Changers of Idaho.
