Green Acres started with a walk along the boise river.

Green Acres Food Truck Park was founded by husband and wife team Sean and Anny Frampton after relocating from Austin, Texas to Boise in 2018.

Coming from a city known for its food truck culture, they quickly noticed something missing in Boise:

a dedicated outdoor space where food, music, and community could naturally come together.

While walking and biking the Boise Greenbelt near their home, the idea took shape.

The name Green Acres

The name Green Acres was partly inspired by the classic TV show Green Acres, where a couple leaves city life to chase their dream of living on a farm.

In a small way, that story mirrors ours. Sean and Anny left the bustle of Austin and landed in Boise, drawn to the outdoors, community, and a slower rhythm of life. Green Acres brings a little bit of that country feel into the heart of the city along the Boise Greenbelt.

We are not a farm, but we are a breath of fresh air. A place where boots and bike helmets fit in the same space. Where you can show up casual, stay awhile, and connect with your community.

What We Do

More than a venue, Green Acres functions as a neighborhood hub. Families, friends, couples, dog owners, and visitors mix organically throughout the week, creating a welcoming, low-pressure environment that feels approachable and authentic. Because entry is free and the experience is flexible, guests return again and again over the course of the season.

Over the past five years, Green Acres has raised and donated more than $100,000 to causes that support the people, places, and environment of Idaho. We are proud to have partnered with:

Idaho Wildlife Federation

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Idaho

Bustin Out of Boise

Game Changers Idaho

Idaho Rivers United

Camp Rainbow Gold
