Bringing the Pumpkin Patch to Downtown Boise
Fall is moving into Green Acres!
We're bringing a little bit of that classic pumpkin patch and fall festival feeling to downtown Boise, with the Greenbelt as our backdrop and all the things you already love about Green Acres mixed in. Grab some food, meet up with friends, bring the kids, bring the dog and settle in for a full weekend of fall fun.
Fall Everywhere You Look
We're transforming the park for the season with pumpkins, hay bales and fall decorations throughout the space. There will be plenty of photo-worthy spots around the park, so come ready to document your fall era.
Whether you're taking a family photo, grabbing a picture with your friends or just looking for a good backdrop for that very important pumpkin patch selfie, there will be plenty of places to stop and snap a photo.
Something for the Kids
We're packing the weekend with activities to keep little ones entertained while the grown-ups hang out. Kids can jump into our corn pit, get creative with pumpkin painting, enjoy face painting and explore plenty of other fall-themed activities throughout the weekend.
We're also bringing in special guests and activity partners to add even more hands-on fun. On Sunday at noon, the Children's Museum of Idaho will be hosting a kids activity while adults can join a craft of their own nearby.
A Little Fall Fun for the Grown-Ups
Fall festivals aren't just for kids. We're adding some activities specifically for adults, including a fall-themed doormat painting class with The Happy Hour Homemaker on Sunday, Oct 4th at noon.
We're planning more adult-friendly activities throughout the weekend too, so you can make a day of it whether you're bringing the whole family or just meeting up with friends.
Shop, Snack & Stay Awhile
We'll have a lineup of fall shopping vendors joining us throughout the weekend, giving you a chance to browse local goods and find something to take home.
And, of course, there will be plenty to eat and drink. Our regular Green Acres food trucks and bar will be joined by additional fall food vendors bringing seasonal treats and other goodies to the weekend. Come hungry, grab a drink and make an afternoon of it.
Live Music All Weekend
What's a Green Acres festival without live music? We're bringing a full lineup of musicians to the park throughout the weekend.
Friday, October 2
5–8 PM | Jeff Engelbert Band
A night of blues, rock and originals!
Saturday, October 3
11 AM–1 PM | Spencer Batt
A smooth blend of rock, folk and blues with original music mixed in.
5–8 PM | Classic Vinyl
Classic rock covers from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s. Danceable, familiar and always a good time. Need we say more? ;)
Sunday, October 4
11 AM–1 PM | Wesley George
A singer-songwriter performing originals and covers from Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, The Avett Brothers, Tom Petty and The Lumineers.
2–5 PM | Blues Addicts Trio
Now in their 15th year, this Boise favorite brings deeper cuts from artists like Eric Clapton, The Allman Brothers Band, JJ Cale, Dire Straits, Lyle Lovett, Jethro Tull and more, with plenty of Chicago blues mixed in.
6–8 PM | Swing By
A four-piece Gypsy jazz band bringing a lively, swinging sound to the Green Acres stage.
